Join us for an evening of community, reflection, and celebration of the Community Meditation Center. True to CMC’s ethos, all are welcome. We have offered a suggested sliding scale, and ask that all participants donate the amount that feels both appropriate for you and supportive of CMC. If finances are a challenge, we have a pay-what-you-can option.
We’ll begin with a guided meditation on the Buddha’s teaching that generosity steadies the mind and opens the heart. From there, beloved local teachers Pilar Jennings, Vera Ruangtragool and Oneika Mays will join our Guiding Teacher, Bart van Melik in a timely exploration of the impacts of generosity and its power to transform our lives and communities. This contemplation will be moderated by CMC’s Executive Director, Jessica Mingus.
The evening will include:
Open-hearted reflections and dialogue with our panel
Small-group sharing and a collective harvest of insights
Closing connection over light refreshments
Come sit with us—in person or online—as we rejoice in generosity and honor the shared spirit of our community.
All proceeds from this event will support the Community Meditation Center, a nonprofit 501(c)(3).
